{"id":91030,"date":"2021-05-04T09:47:24","date_gmt":"2021-05-04T12:47:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/?p=91030"},"modified":"2021-05-04T10:50:21","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T13:50:21","slug":"samsung-galaxy-s8-fin-actualizaciones-android-parches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/samsung-galaxy-s8-fin-actualizaciones-android-parches\/","title":{"rendered":"Samsung Galaxy S8 llega al fin de su ciclo de vida"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La serie <strong>Galaxy S8<\/strong> tal vez marc\u00f3 el punto de inflexi\u00f3n para <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/samsung\">Samsung<\/a><\/strong>, en el cual pas\u00f3 de tener una p\u00e9sima pol\u00edtica de actualizaciones a ser uno de los fabricantes con mejor soporte para sus smartphones en cuanto a updates, sosteniendo los equipos con hasta cuatro a\u00f1os de soporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy es el turno de despedir a tal vez uno de los mejores smartphones que la serie Galaxy S haya producido jam\u00e1s: el Galaxy S8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samsung retir\u00f3 de la p\u00e1gina de actualizaciones al Galaxy S8 y al Galaxy S8+, por lo que estos smartphones <strong>ya no recibir\u00e1n ning\u00fan tipo de actualizaci\u00f3n de Android<\/strong>, incluyendo los parches de seguridad &#8211; el \u00faltimo fue el de abril del 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es cierto que el Galaxy S8 ya recib\u00eda actualizaciones solo dos veces al a\u00f1o, pero es un signo de que es tiempo de actualizar a otro smartphone &#8211; una tarea complicada ya que su hardware est\u00e1 lejos a\u00fan de ser viejo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Samsung Galaxy S8 marc\u00f3 el principio de la era de smartphones con navegaci\u00f3n en pantalla, retirando definitivamente el bot\u00f3n de inicio en favor de delgados bordes de pantalla arriba y abajo, e inexistentes en sus costados gracias a la pantalla curva hacia los lados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Es conveniente seguir utilizando un Galaxy S8?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En su estado original, es posible que su vida \u00fatil pueda extenderse unos cuantos meses m\u00e1s, siempre y cuando no surjan vulnerabilidades que ataquen directamente a estos smartphones que no reciben los parches de seguridad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De todos modos, la mejor opci\u00f3n es reemplazar el ROM original con uno alternativo, no solo para upgradear Android sino tambi\u00e9n para mantenerlo seguro de amenazas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por ejemplo, este <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/t\/rom-unofficial-dreamlte-dream2lte-sm-g950f-sm-g955f-10-lineageos-17-1.4041977\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">port<\/a> de LineageOS para el Galaxy S8 lo lleva a Android 10, con muchas otras mejoras, aunque solo est\u00e1 disponible para la variante Exynos o Snapdragon comprados fuera de USA. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El venerado Galaxy S8 y su par, el Galaxy S8+ llegan al final de su ciclo luego de cuatro a\u00f1os de soporte por parte de Samsung.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":59192,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"rop_custom_images_group":[],"rop_custom_messages_group":[],"rop_publish_now":"initial","rop_publish_now_accounts":[],"rop_publish_now_history":[],"rop_publish_now_status":"pending","footnotes":""},"categories":[4122],"tags":[300,17,3103],"class_list":["post-91030","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-samsung","tag-actualizaciones","tag-android","tag-samsung-galaxy-s8"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
