Por primera vez, a falta de un <em>flagship<\/em> de la m\u00e1s alta jerarqu\u00eda, podr\u00edamos ver anunciados tres. Y uno de ellos, el Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra tendr\u00e1 una nueva bater\u00eda con tecnolog\u00eda de vanguardia desarrollada por <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/xiaomi\">Xiaomi<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por los pasados dos a\u00f1os solo tres cosas parecen haber mejorado dr\u00e1sticamente a\u00f1o a a\u00f1o: las tasas de refresco de las pantallas de smartphones de gama premium y mediana alta gama, la potencia y calidad de los sensores de imagen y las potencias de carga r\u00e1pida. Pero un importante factor ha quedado por fuera de la innovaci\u00f3n: las bater\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Xiaomi-Mi-11-Ultra-Battery.jpg\" alt=\"Teaser oficial de la nueva tecnolog\u00eda de bater\u00eda en el Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.\" class=\"wp-image-90401\" \/><figcaption>Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra ser\u00eda el primer smartphone con bater\u00eda de \u00e1nodo de silicio-ox\u00edgeno.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Xiaomi utilizar\u00eda tecnolog\u00eda del mundo de los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2017 comenzamos a o\u00edr acerca de la posibilidad de inversiones millonarias en bater\u00edas de grafeno que eventualmente pudieran reemplazar a las bater\u00edas de ion de litio que pueblan la grosera mayor\u00eda de los dispositivos m\u00f3viles. Pero Xiaomi parece haber encontrado una importante fuente de inspiraci\u00f3n: los autos el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El mercado de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos inteligentes ha estado en la mira de millones de personas los pasados meses luego de que surgieran contundentes rumores de que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/apple\">Apple<\/a> estaba buscando m\u00faltiples aliados que la ayudaran a construir su primer <em>self-driving car<\/em> o auto inteligente. Pero ahora Xiaomi ha tenido a bien mirar esta industria con el motivo de robarle una de sus m\u00e1s recientes ideas: las bater\u00edas de \u00e1nodo de silicio-ox\u00edgeno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A diferencia de las m\u00e1s populares bater\u00edas de litio las bater\u00eda de \u00e1nodo de silicio-ox\u00edgeno incrementan dr\u00e1sticamente tres factores de la alimentaci\u00f3n de un producto o dispositivo: la densidad de carga, la capacidad de carga y la velocidad a la que pueden cargarse. Tres factores que est\u00e1n en los mejores intereses de un smartphone para mejorar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incluso si en los pasados dos a\u00f1os y, especialmente, a lo largo de 2020 hemos visto una mejora notable en el tama\u00f1o de las bater\u00edas que se incluyen dentro de smartphones, especialmente en los de gama media, el material siempre ha sido el mismo y, por lo tanto, el comportamiento de todas estas bater\u00edas y de la vida \u00fatil de las mismas ha sido el mismo desde hace ya muchos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No obstante, las bater\u00edas de \u00e1nodo de silicio-ox\u00edgeno podr\u00edan traer una nueva experiencia al mercado. Hay que advertir, de igual manera, que la frescura de esta tecnolog\u00eda viene aparejada de ciertos riesgos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tiempo atr\u00e1s, cuando Xiaomi present\u00f3 el Mi Mix Alpha como uno de sus m\u00e1s ambiciosos conceptos de smartphone de pantalla flexible se anunci\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n que tendr\u00eda una bater\u00eda de \u00e1nodo de silicio-ox\u00edgeno. Una de las razones -y solo una- por las que el tel\u00e9fono no continu\u00f3 desarroll\u00e1ndose fue que Xiaomi encontr\u00f3 un problema con la primera versi\u00f3n de estas bater\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A pesar de poder recibir mayores potencias de cargado la carga sol\u00eda ser, en general, ineficiente y eso acab\u00f3 por ocasionar sobrecalentamiento y en muchos casos p\u00e9rdida de litio de la bater\u00eda lo que afectaba dr\u00e1sticamente la vida \u00fatil de la bater\u00eda. Esta vez, Xiaomi parece haber encontrado una forma de reforzar el litio con mayor cantidad de silicio y est\u00e1n listos para poner smartphones con estas bater\u00edas en manos de los usuarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra tendr\u00e1 una nueva bater\u00eda de \u00e1nodo de silicio-ox\u00edgeno aunque la tecnolog\u00eda es tan dif\u00edcil de fabricar con un est\u00e1ndar de calidad \u00f3ptimo que puede que haya varias unidades que corran el riesgo de reportar desperfectos en las primeras semanas de uso. Eso sin dudas repercutir\u00e1 en la cadena productiva del <em>flagship<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En cualquier caso, nos entusiasma saber que 2021 se perfila para ser un gran a\u00f1o para los fabricantes de tecnolog\u00eda m\u00f3vil, incluso si es a pesar de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/samsung-declara-escasez-chips-qualcomm\/\">la extrema escasez de componentes<\/a> para la fabricaci\u00f3n de semiconductores.
