Carl Pei, quien fuera CEO de OnePlus, una de las compa\u00f1\u00edas asi\u00e1ticas m\u00e1s importantes del mundo de la telefon\u00eda m\u00f3vil, renunci\u00f3 para fundar Nothing Technologies. Y poco m\u00e1s tarde, Carl Pei adquiere Essential, la ex-compa\u00f1\u00eda de Andy Rubin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bfQui\u00e9n es Andy Rubin? Nada m\u00e1s ni nada menos que ex-vicepresidente del departamento de ingenier\u00eda de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/google\">Google<\/a><\/strong> y co-fundador del sistema operativo m\u00f3vil m\u00e1s popular del mundo: Android. Luego de semejante curr\u00edculum pas\u00f3 a fundar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/ventas-essential-ph-1-50-mil-unidades-vendidas\/\">Essential Products<\/a> en 2015 con miras a crear dispositivos inteligentes que se integren en la vida cotidiana de los usuarios pero <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/essential-cierre-definitivo-comunicado-oficial\/\">sin mucho \u00e9xito<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fundada por Andy Rubin ahora Essential forma parte de Nothing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adelantemos el reloj hasta comienzos de 2020: luego de muchas especulaciones sobre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/andy-rubin-muestra-fotos-oficiales-essential-ph-2\/\">un segundo Essential Phone<\/a> el proyecto cerr\u00f3 el tel\u00f3n y pasaron oficialmente al olvido. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O eso cre\u00edamos, porque parec\u00eda ser que desde marzo de 2020 Carl Pei estaba en conversaciones para adquirir la compa\u00f1\u00eda norteamericana de tan fugaz paso por el mundo de los smartphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nothing Tech, Nothing Technologies o, sencillamente, Nothing, es la nueva compa\u00f1\u00eda de Carl Pei, ex-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/oneplus\">OnePlus<\/a> que parece tener la misma meta que por entonces clamaba Essential: lanzar dispositivos que se integren en la vida cotidiana de sus usuarios para ayudarlos d\u00eda a d\u00eda. Sin embargo, Nothing no ha anunciado ni un solo producto tras lanzarse oficialmente el pasado enero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuando Nothing no era nada m\u00e1s que un rumor ya se dec\u00eda que la pr\u00f3xima compa\u00f1\u00eda que fundara Carl Pei no iba a competir en el mismo mercado que OnePlus. Pero con ahora que Carl Pei adquiere Essential las cosas podr\u00edan cambiar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, de suceder que Nothing termine por lanzar sus propios tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes es poco probable que suceda en el futuro cercano. Por lo pronto, Nothing estar\u00e1 saliendo con su primer producto al mundo antes del verano del hemisferio norte, invierno del hemisferio sur.
