Luego de los comunicados filtraos a empleados que advert\u00edan la posibilidad de que ya no ver\u00edamos m\u00e1s smartphones del fabricante surcoreano y las posteriores declaraciones apaciguadoras de sus ejecutivos surgen rumores de que el LG Rollable podr\u00eda cancelarse independientemente de lo que le suceda a LG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hace m\u00e1s de cuatro a\u00f1os que trimestre tras trimestre la divisi\u00f3n de tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes de LG ha dado balances con p\u00e9rdidas. El futuro del departamento de smartphones de LG ha sido, de alguna manera, por a\u00f1os fuentes de dudas e inquietudes. Pero luego de las \u00faltimas declaraciones de sus representantes esa realidad t\u00e1cita se ha materializado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El futuro de la divisi\u00f3n de smartphones de LG est\u00e1 en duda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dos d\u00edas atr\u00e1s desde el liderazgo de LG aseguraron que en relaci\u00f3n al futuro de su divisi\u00f3n de dispositivos m\u00f3viles &#8220;toda opci\u00f3n era posible&#8221;. Eso significa que tanto continuar fabricando smartphones como vender la divisi\u00f3n son posibilidades igualmente probables, aunque ciertamente eso sugiere tambi\u00e9n que lo segundo es lo deseable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero incluso si LG contin\u00faa en el mercado un rumor pondr\u00e1 tristes a muchos fan\u00e1ticos: el LG Rollable podr\u00eda cancelarse. El primer <em>foldable<\/em> del fabricante surcoreano cuyo primer teaser surgi\u00f3 a finales de 2020 y cuya primera imagen en acci\u00f3n pudo verse en el final de la presentaci\u00f3n de LG <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/lg-rollable-teaser-video-oficial\/\">en la CES 2021<\/a> podr\u00edan no llegar a buen puerto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desde el sitio <em>The Korea Herald<\/em> reportan fuentes allegadas a LG que sostienen que el Rollable es un proyecto casi muerto. Hay quienes dicen que las bajas ventas del LG Wing, incluso a pesar de haber ganado premios por su innovador dise\u00f1o, habr\u00edan sido un duro golpe para la divisi\u00f3n que los habr\u00eda desalentado a continuar con el LG Rollable, otro dise\u00f1o experimental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hay quienes aseguran que el \u00e9xito en el mercado del LG Rollable est\u00e1 pr\u00e1cticamente asegurado precisamente gracias a su dise\u00f1o alternativo a los ya repetitivos aspectos que vemos en esta temprana etapa del mundo de los <em>foldables<\/em>.
