Rehuyendo usualmente a rumores infundados sorprendi\u00f3 a todos horas atr\u00e1s cuando clam\u00f3 haberse hecho de mensajes que se les enviaron a los empleados de LG inst\u00e1ndolos a abandonar toda fabricaci\u00f3n de smartphones que no fueran <em>foldables<\/em>. Pero <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/lg\">LG<\/a><\/strong> seguir\u00e1 en el negocio de los smartphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero horas m\u00e1s tarde, Ken Hong, representante de comunicaciones internacionales de LG desestim\u00f3 por completo estos rumores diciendo que no tienen ning\u00fan basamento. En concreto, todos esos a\u00f1os la divisi\u00f3n de smartphones de la compa\u00f1\u00eda coreana no ha reportado m\u00e1s que p\u00e9rdidas con excepci\u00f3n de uno de los trimestres de 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero poco a poco LG ha pasado de ser uno de los m\u00e1s prol\u00edficos y exitosos fabricantes del mercado a uno de los menos relevantes, estando hoy muy lejos de las primeras cinco posiciones en venta y distribuci\u00f3n de este tipo de equipos. No podemos decir exactamente que ser\u00eda descabellado pensar en LG abandonando por completo el negocio de los celulares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es para destacar que, seg\u00fan las fuentes allegadas a LG con las que <em>The Elec<\/em> habr\u00eda estado en comunicaciones el mensaje a los empleados suger\u00eda la finalizaci\u00f3n de desarrollo y fabricaci\u00f3n de todos sus tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes con la excepci\u00f3n de sus tel\u00e9fonos de pantalla flexible, mejor conocidos como <em>foldables<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sabemos que LG actualmente est\u00e1 especialmente dedicada a su Project Explorer, un proyecto que la lleva a innovar con el dise\u00f1o de dispositivos m\u00f3viles, particularmente con dise\u00f1os de smartphones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/moviles\/lg-wing\">LG Wing<\/a> fue la primera expresi\u00f3n de ese proyecto y el LG Rollable ser\u00e1 la pr\u00f3xima. Cierto es que no es inveros\u00edmil imaginar un escenario en que estos se transforman en el \u00fanico tipo de smartphones de LG siendo que Apple, por ejemplo, funda toda su econom\u00eda en pocos iPhone por a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LG seguir\u00e1 en el negocio de los smartphones de acuerdo a comunicaciones oficiales de sus ejecutivos pero quedan flotando los rumores que anticipan un anuncio de abandono del negocio el pr\u00f3ximo 26 de enero.
