Cada vez m\u00e1s usuarios en los foros oficiales de Google<\/a><\/strong> y el sitio Reddit<\/em> han dado cuenta de una situaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica para los \u00faltimos flagships <\/em>del poderoso motor de b\u00fasqueda: los Google Pixel 3 y Pixel 3 XL tienen serios problemas con sus bater\u00edas. Las mismas parecen hincharse hasta llegar al punto de empujar las carcasas traseras hacia afuera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunque el problema parece presentarse con especial recurrencia en los Pixel 3<\/a><\/strong> y Pixel 3 XL<\/a><\/strong>, algunos usuarios se\u00f1alan que lo mismo les ha ocurrido con sus modelos Pixel 4<\/a><\/strong> y Pixel 4 XL<\/a><\/strong>. Un usuario en Reddit<\/em> incluso se anim\u00f3 a preguntarse si habr\u00e1 existido alguna relaci\u00f3n causal entre la discontinuaci\u00f3n del Pixel 4 XL y los problemas con su bater\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Cada vez m\u00e1s usuarios parecen tener este inconveniente<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Habr\u00e1 quienes aduzcan que una bater\u00eda hinchada no es un gran problema; dir\u00e1n que mientras el smartphone pueda mantener su rendimiento prometido entonces este es un problema que podemos pasar por alto. Pero existen tres problemas con esos argumentos. En primer lugar, una bater\u00eda hinchada es un potencial problema cr\u00edtico para sus usuarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunque la mayor\u00eda de las bater\u00edas hoy en d\u00eda son probadas incluso en escenarios en donde acaban hinch\u00e1ndose, igualmente corren riesgos de soltar humo de temperaturas peligrosas y, en algunos casos, tambi\u00e9n pueden causar quemadoras en el smartphone, lo que a su vez puede terminar con lesiones en las manos de los usuarios si dicho proceso sucede durante el uso del smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En segundo lugar, estas bater\u00edas hinchadas tienen una consecuencia concreta en el rendimiento de los Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 4 y Pixel 4 XL: inmediatamente luego de inflarse interrumpen con el funcionamiento de su tecnolog\u00eda de cargado inal\u00e1mbrico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y, por \u00faltimo, no nos olvidemos de que estamos hablando de smartphones que se lanzaron con etiquetas de precio al norte de los US$700, que pertenecen a una de las compa\u00f1\u00edas m\u00e1s exitosas del mundo -aunque, para ser justos, su negocio de smartphones no ha ido muy bien los pasados a\u00f1os- y que este problema podr\u00eda haberse prevenido con las pruebas adecuadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miles de usuarios reportan que sus Google Pixel 3 y Pixel 3 XL tienen serios problemas con sus bater\u00edas y el problema podr\u00eda haber afectado tambi\u00e9n a los Pixel 4 y Pixel 4 XL. Puede incluso que haya sido la raz\u00f3n por la cual estos \u00faltimos flagships<\/em> fueron descontinuados abruptamente y Google no se ha pronunciado oficialmente al respecto.
