Hace cerca de cuatro a\u00f1os que Google<\/a><\/strong> comenz\u00f3 con su propia serie de flagships<\/em> de jerarqu\u00eda premium: la serie Pixel. Y para distinguirlos en un mundo abarrotado de smartphones corriendo Android los Google Pixel reciben antes que nadie las actualizaciones de seguridad y de software de Android. Y hoy Google distribuye una nueva actualizaci\u00f3n de seguridad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con la excepci\u00f3n de la primera generaci\u00f3n de los Google Pixel, es decir, los Google Pixel<\/a> y Pixel XL<\/a>, todos los dem\u00e1s smartphones de Google pertenecientes a esta serie estar\u00e1n recibiendo la actualizaci\u00f3n de seguridad de Android correspondiente al mes de mayo que, en resumidas cuentas, soluciona bugs y problemas varios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ya est\u00e1 lista la actualizaci\u00f3n de seguridad de mayo para los Google Pixel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Estamos hablando entonces de que los Google Pixel 4<\/strong><\/a>, Google Pixel 4 XL<\/strong><\/a>, Google Pixel 3a<\/strong><\/a>, Google Pixel 3a XL<\/strong><\/a>, Google Pixel 3<\/strong><\/a>, Google Pixel 3 XL<\/strong><\/a>, Google Pixel 2<\/strong><\/a> y Google Pixel 2 XL<\/strong><\/a> son los dispositivos elegidos para recibir la primera actualizaci\u00f3n de seguridad de Android lanzada en el mes de mayo -y posiblemente vaya a ser la \u00fanica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sin embargo, a diferencia de otras actualizaciones de seguridad que hemos visto en el pasado reciente el parche de seguridad correspondiente al mes de mayo tendr\u00e1 un peso aproximado de 8,8MB. Al menos, ese es el peso que se ha visualizado en el detalle de la descarga para el Google Pixel 4 XL que actualmente es el smartphone de m\u00e1s alta jerarqu\u00eda de Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google distribuye una nueva actualizaci\u00f3n de seguridad para todas las generaciones de sus Google Pixel con excepci\u00f3n de la primera y muy pronto esta misma actualizaci\u00f3n tendr\u00eda que estarse distribuyendo a smartphones de otros fabricantes. Comenzando por aquellos que hayan seguido las recomendaciones del Proyecto Treble llegado con Android 9.0 Pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como siempre en estos casos, recomendamos a los usuarios de un Google Pixel compatible realizar la pertinente descarga con sus smartphones conectados a una red Wi-Fi privada con motivo de evitar potenciales vulneraciones de seguridad, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n evitar el gasto innecesario de datos m\u00f3viles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
