Poco a poco se ha ido relegando a una posici\u00f3n de fabricante de <em>flagships<\/em> que venden mucho menos que sus competidores a pesar de estar bien equipados. Pero LG planea volver rentable su negocio de smartphones para 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El director de LG, Kwon Bong-Seok, declar\u00f3 en una conferencia de prensa durante la CES 2020 que tienen un as bajo la manga: un &#8220;factor wow&#8221; que volver\u00eda a los smartphones de LG realmente atractivos. Y que ese atractivo les permitir\u00eda volver a ser uno de los m\u00e1s relevantes fabricantes de smartphones del mundo o, cuando menos, dejar de reportarles p\u00e9rdidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LG tiene un &#8220;Factor Wow&#8221; planeado para sus smartphones<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Van ya varios a\u00f1os desde que LG confiesa que, a pesar del crecimiento de su empresa en t\u00e9rmino de balances comerciales, su departamento de smartphones reporta p\u00e9rdidas trimestrales. A veces, p\u00e9rdidas interanuales consecutivas. Y sus representantes tienen pensado un plan para revertir la situaci\u00f3n: un &#8220;Factor Wow&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los directivos de LG no describieron ni hablaron de qu\u00e9 se trata exactamente este &#8220;Factor Wow&#8221; pero podemos especular con que se tratar\u00e1 de un nuevo software pues, seg\u00fan se ha filtrado acerca de sus pr\u00f3ximos <em>flagships<\/em>, el LG V60 ThinQ y el LG G9 ThinQ, estos no presentan innovaciones en su dise\u00f1o ni se les augura un hardware fuera de serie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Otro de las estrategias que LG llevar\u00eda a cabo para volver redituable su negocio de smartphones ser\u00eda ampliar su oferta de productos. En lugar de ofrecer principalmente <em>flagships<\/em> y tan pocos tel\u00e9fonos de mediana y mediana-baja gama el fabricante surcoreano buscar\u00e1 lanzar m\u00e1s celulares inteligentes para darles a sus usuarios m\u00e1s opciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LG planea volver rentable su negocio de smartphones luego de a\u00f1os de permitirse balances negativos y para encarar semejante proeza 2020 ser\u00e1 un a\u00f1o bisagra. Sabemos que al menos un LG V60 ThinQ tiene su mirada fija en el escenario de la MWC 2020 para presentarse e intentar deslumbrar al p\u00fablico asistente.
