Es en estas fechas que la mayor\u00eda de las compa\u00f1\u00edas m\u00e1s grandes del mundo de las telecomunicaciones comienzan a anunciar sus balances contables correspondientes a este per\u00edodo. Por ejemplo, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/lg\"><strong>LG<\/strong><\/a> habr\u00eda alcanzado los US$14,1 mil millones en ventas en el primer trimestre de 2018.<\/p>\n<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda surcoreana cree haber triunfado en el sector de los televisores de pantallas OLED, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n en la venta de art\u00edculos pr\u00e9mium para el hogar y, por \u00faltimo, tambi\u00e9n en la venta de paneles LCD.\u00a0LG habr\u00eda alcanzado los US$14,1 mil millones en ventas en el primer trimestre de 2018, pero su divisi\u00f3n de tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes podr\u00eda no haber estado a la altura del \u00e9xito de otras divisiones.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan rumores, el departamento de smartphones de LG Electronics habr\u00eda reportado, por cuarto trimestre consecutivo, n\u00fameros rojos. El balance negativo de esta divisi\u00f3n dif\u00edcilmente entorpezca el lanzamiento de futuros\u00a0<em>flagships<\/em> en el futuro cercano pero, de no revertirse la situaci\u00f3n, de seguro LG se ver\u00e1 obligada a invertir m\u00e1s dinero ya se para la adquisici\u00f3n de hardware pr\u00e9mium de avanzada o para la contrataci\u00f3n de nuevos talentos, por ejemplo, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/acuerdo-htc-disenadores-google-1100-millones-de-dolares\/\">como hizo Google<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>LG habr\u00eda alcanzado los US$14,1 mil millones en ventas en el primer trimestre de 2018 pero estas no son las ganancias netas de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, las cuales llegar\u00edan al igualmente impresionante n\u00famero de US$1,02 mil millones. El balance final no fue a\u00fan publicado, pero lo m\u00e1s probable es que estemos oyendo los reportes finales de LG en alg\u00fan momento m\u00e1s tarde en el d\u00eda de hoy o ya quiz\u00e1 en el d\u00eda de ma\u00f1ana.<\/p>\n<p>Cualquiera sean las cifras del departamento de tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes de LG hay que tener en cuenta que de enero a marzo pr\u00e1cticamente no hemos visto modelos que pisen fuerte y, durante el segundo trimestre, el LG G6 podr\u00eda ser el puntapi\u00e9 inicial para una recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de tal divisi\u00f3n.
