Como ocurre siempre, los reportes de cada trimestre llegan meses m\u00e1s tardes, pues es mucha la informaci\u00f3n para recopilar, pero consultoras del prestigio y la magnitud de Counterpoint Research publicaron resultados exhaustivos del estado del mercado de smartphones correspondientes al cierre del tercer trimestre del 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Tal y como era de esperarse, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/samsung\"><strong>Samsung<\/strong><\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/apple\"><strong>Apple<\/strong><\/a> contin\u00faan siendo los reyes del mercado, con un claro dominio internacional y heterog\u00e9neo de Samsung por sobre Apple, mientras que la compa\u00f1\u00eda de la manzana prohibida contin\u00faa siendo la primera marca de su mercado local por muy amplio margen. Sin embargo, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/huawei\"><strong>Huawei<\/strong><\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/xiaomi\"><strong>Xiaomi<\/strong><\/a> aparecen como peligrosos contendientes en el futuro inmediato.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive center-block aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Counterpoint-Q3-2017-infograf\u00eda.jpg\" alt=\"Infograf\u00eda de Counterpoint Research sobre el estado del mercado de smartphones al cierre del tercer trimestre del 2017. \" width=\"509\" height=\"2500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Counterpoint Research tuvo la amabilidad de resumir su exhaustiva y detallada investigaci\u00f3n en una infograf\u00eda que es totalmente fiel, pero m\u00e1s sint\u00e9tica y amigable de leer. La imagen se inaugura con el estado del mercado al cierre del tercer trimestre del 2017: Samsung y Apple dominan el mercado internacional concentrando, juntas, el 33% de la base de usuarios (21% y 12%, respectivamente). Sin embargo, los cuatro fabricantes chinos con mayores aspiraciones a ser fuerzas internacionales, Huawei, Xiaomi, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/oppo\"><strong>OPPO<\/strong><\/a> y Vivo, concentran el 32% de la base de usuarios mundial, con l\u00f3gica predominancia de sus consumidores y usuarios en Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Huawei cerr\u00f3 el tercer trimestre del 2017 concentrando el 10% de la base de usuarios, solo 2% detr\u00e1s de los usuarios que actualmente nuclea Apple. A este paso, es m\u00e1s que probable que la meta de Huawei de sobrepasar a Apple para 2020 se concrete. Otro fabricante chino que amenaza con tocar las puertas del podio de las tres compa\u00f1\u00edas de smartphones m\u00e1s importantes del mundo es Xiaomi, quien ha crecido m\u00e1s, a\u00f1o a a\u00f1o, que ninguna otra compa\u00f1\u00eda de Asia. No obstante, su regi\u00f3n experimenta una competencia feroz.<\/p>\n<p>Los resultados regionales para Asia reflejan que el podio de las 5 compa\u00f1\u00edas internacionales con mayor cantidad de usuarios se arma, en orden de mayor a menor, con Samsung a la cabeza concentrando el 15% de los usuarios asi\u00e1ticos, secundado por OPPO con el 11%, luego por Vivo y Xiaomi compartiendo el tercer puesto con 10% de los usuarios y, finalmente, Huawei con 9%. Es importante se\u00f1alar que Huawei es particularmente popular en China, pero no tanto en India y otros pa\u00edses de Asia, en donde Xiaomi, OPPO y Vivo han hecho de las suyas para sobreponerse.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, el caso de Apple es todo un fen\u00f3meno en s\u00ed mismo, pues consigue ser la segunda compa\u00f1\u00eda del mundo con mayor cantidad de usuarios a punta de concentrarse en dominar el mercado local. El 32% de los usuarios estadounidenses ten\u00edan, al cierre del tercer trimestre del 2017, un tel\u00e9fono de Apple, mientras que Samsung provee al 23% de los usuarios de esa regi\u00f3n con sus productos y el tercer lugar es para <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/lg\"><strong>LG<\/strong><\/a> con el 17% de los usuarios.<\/p>\n<p>Es importante recordar que el cuarto trimestre del 2017 vio la llegada de los principales\u00a0<em>flagships<\/em> del segundo semestre de Apple, Huawei y OPPO, por lo que todos estos resultados podr\u00edan experimentar variantes significativas al cierre del cuarto y \u00faltimo trimestre del a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El cuarto trimestre del 2017 lleg\u00f3 a su fin hace a penas cuatro d\u00edas y, consecuentemente, tambi\u00e9n se cerr\u00f3 el per\u00edodo de balance para dicho trimestre.
