Desafortunadamente, solo unas pocas pueden med\u00edrsele a la haza\u00f1a. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/google\"><strong>Google<\/strong><\/a> es uno de ellas.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las virtudes m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de equiparar de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/apple\">Apple<\/a> es que al ser ellos manufactureros de sus propios productos y dise\u00f1adores de sus propios softwares, es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil garantizar la vida \u00fatil de estos en per\u00edodos superiores a los 2 a\u00f1os que promete la competencia. Pero las cosas podr\u00edan empezar a cambiar con la nueva iniciativa de Google, pues anunciaron en su p\u00e1gina oficial que el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/moviles\/google-pixel-2\"><strong>Google Pixel 2<\/strong><\/a> y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/moviles\/google-pixel-2-xl\"><strong>Google Pixel 2 XL<\/strong><\/a> obtendr\u00e1n tres a\u00f1os de actualizaciones de seguridad y de sistema operativo.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ya era costumbre de Google asegurar tres a\u00f1os de cobertura de seguridad para todos sus dispositivos, incluyendo a la serie &#8220;Nexus&#8221;. Pero tres a\u00f1os de soporte de Android es a\u00f1o con lo que la mayor\u00eda de los smartphones del alien\u00edgena sue\u00f1an pero que solo Apple hab\u00eda podido entregarle a sus iPhones. Algunos smartphones de Apple incluso superan los tres a\u00f1os de actualizaciones de iOS, pero la optimizaci\u00f3n de estos ya no est\u00e1 garantizada.<\/p>\n<p>Promediando tres a\u00f1os de vida \u00fatil y \u00f3ptima para los actuales productos vigentes de Apple, Google estar\u00eda empatando esa marca prometi\u00e9ndoles a los usuarios de un Google Pixel 2 o de un Google Pixel 2 XL que estos tendr\u00e1n Android y parches de seguridad hasta octubre del 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Si las nuevas versiones de Android contin\u00faan saliendo una al a\u00f1o entre los meses de agosto y septiembre, entonces Google Pixel 2 y Google Pixel 2 XL recibir\u00e1n Android P, Android Q y Android R en los a\u00f1os 2018, 2019 y 2020, respectivamente.
