Samsung<\/strong><\/a> tambi\u00e9n lo vinculan con la ex-presidenta Park Geun-hye, quien fue destituida de su cargo por voto del Poder Legislativo y est\u00e1 cursando actualmente su propio juicio en paralelo. Lee Kun-hee, presidente oficial de Samsung y padre de Jay Y. Lee, se encuentra desde hace ya varios meses fuera de su cargo por razones de salud que le impiden ejercer sus funciones de forma \u00f3ptima, pero algunos rumores ominosos susurran que es su coartada para desligarse de los negocios turbios que ti\u00f1eron a Samsung y al Estado coreano.<\/p>\n
Lee Jae-yong habr\u00eda pagado m\u00e1s de US$38 millones a distintos funcionarios p\u00fablicos para permitirle fusionar dos compa\u00f1\u00edas pertenecientes a Samsung, fusi\u00f3n que acab\u00f3 por da\u00f1ar compa\u00f1\u00edas cuyas acciones le pertenec\u00edan a fondos del Estado coreano. Por su parte, Jay Y., niega conocer el destino, motivo y origen de este dinero y alega que los empleados involucrados en realizar estos pagos ilegales no fueron comandados por \u00e9l ni lo hicieron bajo su conocimiento.<\/p>\n
Algunos de los oficiales de Samsung imputados en la causa apuntan a la ex-presidenta de Corea del Sur como la responsable de comandar la operaci\u00f3n, oblig\u00e1ndolos a realizar estos pagos. Park Geun-hye, alegando motivos de salud que le impiden atender a los recintos pertinentes, no se ha presentado a testificar en contra del presidente interino de Samsung y se niega a contestar a la prensa sobre estas acusaciones.<\/p>\n
