Quiz\u00e1 tapado por la relevancia que cobran los dispositivos en el mundo de las telecomunicaciones, el lanzamiento oficial de la nueva versi\u00f3n del sistema operativo m\u00f3vil m\u00e1s importante del mundo ha pasado por debajo de muchos radares. Uno de los sitios que m\u00e1s consistentemente reporta novedades sobre este asunto es\u00a0Android Police<\/em>, quienes tienen empleados allegados a Android.<\/p>\n

Uno de ellos, su jefe editor, David Ruddock, parece haber entrado en contacto con una fuente que \u00e9l describe como “confiable” que le provey\u00f3, hace casi dos meses el importante dato de que Android “O” estar\u00eda llegando a varios smartphones de Google<\/strong><\/a> durante las primeras dos semanas del mes de agosto de este a\u00f1o. Fiel a su fuente, Ruddock volvi\u00f3 a twittear que as\u00ed ser\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Durante la tarde del 2 de agosto, David Ruddock ratific\u00f3 su convicci\u00f3n de que el Android “O” estar\u00eda llegando para los dispositivos de Google de la serie “Pixel” en el lapso de una semana, haciendo la salvedad de que una demora podr\u00eda suceder, pero una semana era el plazo a cumplir en cuanto le constaba a \u00e9l. La tradici\u00f3n de lanzamientos de nuevas versiones de Android no har\u00eda nada improbable creer que podr\u00edamos tener Android “O” antes del 10 de agosto, pero s\u00ed ser\u00eda un lanzamiento algunos d\u00edas adelantados, de acuerdo a la tradici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Sobre el nombre de Android “O” un nuevo rumor ha empezado a cobrar peso. Mientras que la especulaci\u00f3n general apunta al nombre “Oreo”, el logo amarillo de Android “O” favorece m\u00e1s al nuevo rumor que cree que el nombre designado es “Oatmeal Cookie” o “Galleta de Avena”. Solo por diversi\u00f3n, es interesante imaginar que en las oficinas de Android los fan\u00e1ticos de Oreo y los fan\u00e1ticos de las galletas de avena habr\u00edan ejecutado una tensa votaci\u00f3n para designar al postre ganador.<\/p>\n
