Por ejemplo, fue la primera compa\u00f1\u00eda fabricadora de procesadores en anunciar y lanzar un procesador con diez n\u00facleos. No obstante, el rendimiento de sus procesadores ha estado hist\u00f3ricamente por detr\u00e1s de otros fabricantes que ofrecen sus productos al mercado (la menci\u00f3n es para Qualcomm y su Snapdragon y para <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/samsung\">Samsung<\/a><\/strong> y su Exynos). La producci\u00f3n de MediaTek se ha estado incrementando cada vez m\u00e1s y con ello, finalmente, MediaTek puede prepararse para redundar a\u00f1os de trabajo en un procesador competitivo.<\/p>\n<p>MediaTek ha anunciado en la MWC 2017 el lanzamiento de su nuevo procesador de diez n\u00facleos, el MediaTek Helio X30. Es posible que este procesador sea el primer paso de MediaTek para competir en aptitudes con los gigantes del mercado, aunque a\u00fan le queda un significativo tramo por recorrer. Jeffery Ju, vicepresidente ejecutivo de MediaTek ha declarado que es posible que el MediaTek X30 aparezca acelerando menos de diez smartphones este a\u00f1o. Rumores ya suponen que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/vernee-apollo-2-con-chip-helio-x30-y-8gb-de-ram-sera-anunciado-en-mwc-2017\/\">el primer smartphone en debutar con esta tecnolog\u00eda sea el Vernee Apollo 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Pero, \u00bfde qu\u00e9 es capaz el MediaTek Helio X30 y por qu\u00e9 lo hace competitivo? Comencemos por el dise\u00f1o: MediaTek Helio x30 ser\u00e1 el tercer procesador del mundo en fabricarse con la tecnolog\u00eda de 10nm de grosor, permiti\u00e9ndole ese ahorro de espacio trabajar un 35% de mejor desempe\u00f1o consumiendo 50% menos de energ\u00eda. Una mejora m\u00e1s que significativa.<\/p>\n<p>La distribuci\u00f3n de los diez n\u00facleos constar\u00e1 de tres conjuntos distintos. Una pareja de n\u00facleos ser\u00e1n Cortex A73 corriendo a 2,5GHz. Luego, otro grupo constar\u00e1 de cuatro n\u00facleos Cortex A53 funcionando a 2,2 GHz; con el \u00faltimo conjunto de n\u00facleos siendo Cortex 35 trabajando a 1,9GHz. El motor gr\u00e1fico ser\u00e1 un PowerVR 7XTP-MT4 de cuatro n\u00facleos trabajando a 800MHz. Como el nombre del motor gr\u00e1fico lo indica, el PowerVR 7xTP-MT4 le permitir\u00e1 al smartphone que luzca el MediaTek Helio X30 operar con aplicaciones y dispositivos de realidad virtual.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MediaTek Helio X30 - Performance Redefined\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qfHAI-dc6E4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>MediaTek tampoco se achic\u00f3 en el departamento de ventajas de memoria. Helio X30 podr\u00e1 soportar hasta 8GB de memoria RAM LPDDR4 trabajando a 1866MHz, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n discos de almacenamiento UFS 2.1. Lo nuevo de MediaTek tambi\u00e9n le otorgar\u00e1 al smartphone que opte por \u00e9l la posibilidad de operar con una c\u00e1mara principal de doble sensor de hasta 16 megap\u00edxeles cada sensor, capturando im\u00e1genes o video con resoluci\u00f3n de hasta 3840 x 2160. La conectividad tampoco es un punto d\u00e9bil para el Helio X30 con un m\u00f3dem Cat.10 LTE, que aun resta por saberse si ser\u00e1 compatible con el nuevo techo al que apuntan los fabricantes de procesadores: permitirle a sus usuarios tener smartphones que soporten conectividad LTE de 1Gigabit.<\/p>\n<p>En el departamento de rendimiento energ\u00e9tico MediaTek ha desarrollado su tecnolog\u00eda CorePilot 4.0 otorg\u00e1ndole entidad a su procesador para distribuir la energ\u00eda al\u00a0equipo de forma tal que el smartphone pueda trabajar \u00f3ptimamente incluso cuando la energ\u00eda restante sea exigua.<\/p>\n<p>La resoluci\u00f3n de los displays de smartphones que tengan al MediaTek Helio X30 como su motor de confianza no podr\u00e1 exceder la dimensi\u00f3n 2560 x 1600, que si tenemos en cuenta la capacidad l\u00edmite de las c\u00e1maras con las que trabajar\u00e1 el Helio x30, a\u00fan no est\u00e1 preparado para soportar resoluci\u00f3n 4K ni en sus displays ni en sus c\u00e1maras. Pero, a este paso, tan solo ser\u00e1 cuesti\u00f3n de tiempo hasta que MediaTek alcance a Qualcomm y a Samsung.
