Pero no pas\u00f3 mucho tiempo hasta que otros gigantes de las telecomunicaciones se sumaran proveyendo incluso mejores especificaciones en sus productos de las que ofrec\u00eda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/apple\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Apple<\/strong><\/a>. Desde entonces, aunque la competencia viene siendo encarnizada, y a pesar de la depresi\u00f3n en ventas para el sector de tablets en general, Apple sigue siendo la empresa reinante. De acuerdo con los estudios de <em>IDC<\/em> y <em>Strategy Analytics, <\/em>en el \u00faltimo cuatrimestre del a\u00f1o 2016 Apple se mantuvo en la cima de ventas con 13,1 millones de unidades vendidas, muy por encima del segundo lugar para <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/samsung\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Samsung<\/strong><\/a> con 8,1 millones de unidades.<\/p>\n<p><em>IDC<\/em> muestra que Apple termin\u00f3 el 2016 con el 24,7% del mercado, pero <em>Strategy Analytics<\/em> muestra un 20,6%. En ambos casos, Apple es la empresa con mayor presencia de tablets en el mercado. Fen\u00f3meno que es curioso siendo que las especificaciones ofrecidas por otras empresas son, en algunos casos, ampliamente superiores.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan IDC, Samsung y Amazon (segundo y tercer puesto en porcentaje de mercado, respectivamente) tienen que combinar sus n\u00fameros (15,1% y 9,7%) para superar a Apple en presencia en el mercado por tan solo 0,1%. La diferencia que muestra <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/tablet-market-falls-9-in-q4-2016-with-apple-samsung-down-double-digits-300401111.html\">Strategy Analytics<\/a> es ligeramente m\u00e1s grande: Samsung y Lenovo (primero y segundo, respectivamente, seg\u00fan SA) tienen 12,8% y 6,7% del mercado, que combinados llegan a 19,5%, 1,1% menos de lo que Apple tiene en solitario.<\/p>\n<p>Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 hay del crecimiento de estas empresas? Seg\u00fan SA, Apple ha vendido 19% menos que el a\u00f1o pasado y Samgung ha vendido 10% menos. Seg\u00fan <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20170202005372\/en\/Tablet-Market-Woes-Continue-Growth-Detachable-Tablets\">IDC<\/a>, Apple ha vendido 18,8% menos y a Samsung 11,4% menos. Por otro lado, seg\u00fan ambos estudios de estad\u00edsticas, Lenovo y Huawei han crecido considerables porcentajes: seg\u00fan IDC, Lenovo creci\u00f3 14,8% para llegar al 7% del mercado y Huawei creci\u00f3 un gigantesco 43,5% al respecto del \u00faltimo cuatrimestre del 2015 consigui\u00e9ndole el quinto puesto en presencia en el mercado con 6%. SA no hall\u00f3 el mismo crecimiento para Huawei, pues reportan un crecimiento de 16% con respecto al \u00faltimo cuatrimestre del 2015, mientras que Lenovo creci\u00f3 21% en el mismo per\u00edodo de tiempo. Para SA, quien m\u00e1s creci\u00f3 fue Amazon con 49%, habiendo vendido 2,3 millones de tablets en el \u00faltimo cuatrimestre del a\u00f1o 2015 y superando ese n\u00famero con 3,4 millones el pasado cuatrimestre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Es sabido que la tablet de renombre por excelencia es el iPad y toda su serie de actualizaciones desde su primer modelo.
