El Motorola X ser\u00eda el primer smartphone enteramente desarrollado bajo la supervisaci\u00f3n de Google y no ser\u00eda parte de la l\u00ednea Nexus.<\/p>\n<p>Por el momento, deberemos esperar informaci\u00f3n oficial que llegar\u00e1 en Google I\/O en apenas unos meses, pero es probable que el Motorola X marque un antes y un despu\u00e9s en el desarrollo de Android y de Google con sus socios de hardware.<\/p>\n<p>Via <a href=\"http:\/\/phandroid.com\/2013\/01\/31\/motorola-x-phone-job-listing\/\">Phandroid<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.phonearena.com\/news\/More-claims-about-Googles-Motorola-X-phone-huge-battery-Sony-camera-sensor-and-Kevlar_id39368?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+phonearena%2FySoL+%28Phone+Arena+-+Latest+News%29&amp;utm_content=Google+Reader\" target=\"_blank\">PhoneArena<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Motorola X should not actually be this year&#8217;s Nexus phone, or Google might have a bit of explaining to do to other Android manufacturers, and after <a title=\"Motorola seeks \" href=\"http:\/\/www.phonearena.com\/news\/Motorola-seeks-product-manager-for-the-Motorola-X_id39350\" target=\"_self\">the job posting that confirms its existence<\/a>, we now have a few more tidbits, thanks to Sniggly.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>One of his contacts is allegedly already toying with an early prototype of the Motorola X phone, and his observations so far tie in with what we heard from Google during the last quarterly conference call &#8211; that <a title=\"Google says Nexus 4 supply a \" href=\"http:\/\/www.phonearena.com\/news\/Google-says-Nexus-4-supply-a-priority-will-focus-Motorola-on-future-phones-battery-life-and-durability_id39002\" target=\"_self\">it will work with Moto to address two critical areas where today&#8217;s smartphones are lacking<\/a> &#8211; battery life and durability.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Toughness will apparently be taken care of with a Kevlar chassis, a material Motorola is already using for its current phones, while battery life is addressed by simply stuffing the X with unit capacity in the realm of Moto&#8217;s MAXX line of handsets. Though still a prototype, the source said the handset managed to get them through several road trip hours on a charge with the GPS software constantly on, which usually is an activity that kills your juicer in no time.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The phone is allegedly planned to have a screen size about 4.8&#8243;, though we&#8217;ve heard 5&#8243; before, the obligatory quad-core processor, and, thankfully, a microSD card slot, despite that storage is rumored to go all the way up to a 128 GB version. We&#8217;ll have to see that last one to believe it, though if the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.phonearena.com\/news\/Motorola-X-to-launch-July-8th-for-299_id38955\" target=\"\">rumored $299.99 tag on Verizon with a contract<\/a> holds water, this might be the version to justify such pricing.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We saved the best for last &#8211; besides running stock Android at the moment, the phone is apparently outfitted with a much better camera than the crappy units Motorola currently uses, and the source said it could be a Sony sensor, as Apple&#8217;s exclusivity with the Japanese has drawn to an end.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If this turns out to be true, <a title=\"13MP camera tipped for Samsung Galaxy S IV\" href=\"http:\/\/www.phonearena.com\/news\/13MP-camera-tipped-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S-IV_id35168\" target=\"_self\">all flagships this year<\/a> but LG, are likely to utilize some variations of the &#8220;stacked&#8221; <a title=\"Sony announces Exmor RS branding for its stacked camera sensors, promises brilliant HDR videos\" href=\"http:\/\/www.phonearena.com\/news\/Sony-announces-Exmor-RS-branding-for-its-stacked-camera-sensors-promises-brilliant-HDR-videos_id33454\" target=\"_self\">Exmor RS<\/a> camera sensor from Sony, and we don&#8217;t blame them &#8211; it takes much less of the valuable space inside a phone, and has <a title=\"Sony Xperia Z HDR video compilation: less burn, more detail\" href=\"http:\/\/www.phonearena.com\/news\/Sony-Xperia-Z-HDR-video-compilation-less-burn-more-detail_id38773\" target=\"_self\">hardwired HDR abilities<\/a> in both pictures and video mode. The source mentioned that the camera on the prototype is pretty good already, yet with some issues that hint it&#8217;s far from a finalized sensor-lens-software combo.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To summarize &#8211; come May 15, we could be looking at project X, the first Motorola phone with direct input from Google, which might sport a Kevlar back, screen in the 4.8&#8243;-5&#8243; range, quad-core processor, 3,000+ mAh battery, microSD slot, good amounts of storage, stock Android and an eventual Sony camera sensor.
