Lanzado apenas hace cuatro meses, el Optimus G lleg\u00f3 primero a Corea, y un mes despu\u00e9s a otros pa\u00edses, pero a\u00fan no ha llegado a China ni Europa, por lo que la cifra, si bien no es comparativamente alta, augura buenas ventas futuras.<\/p>\n<p>A modo de comparaci\u00f3n, el Galaxy S3 super\u00f3 los 40 millones de unidades vendidas desde su lanzamiento el pasado Mayo. Sin embargo, LG espera alcanzar ventas por 45 millones de smartphones en el 2013.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Si LG logra superar los <a title=\"Ejecutivo de LG responsabiliza a Google por estimar por debajo la demanda del Nexus 4\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/blog\/lg-google-nexus-4-demanda\/\" target=\"_blank\">problemas con el Nexus 4<\/a> que han derivado en bajas ventas hasta ahora, e impulsa sus smartphones a m\u00e1s pa\u00edses, podr\u00e1 acercarse a sus rivales Samsung y Apple.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thenextweb.com\/asia\/2013\/01\/18\/lg-announces-1-million-sales-of-its-flagship-optimus-g-smartphone\" target=\"_blank\">Via<\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>lmost four months after launching the Optimus G smartphone, LG has announced that it has sold over 1 million units, Korean news agency <a href=\"http:\/\/english.yonhapnews.co.kr\/news\/2013\/01\/18\/32\/0200000000AEN20130118006400320F.HTML\">Yonhap<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>The Optimus G <a href=\"http:\/\/thenextweb.com\/asia\/2012\/09\/18\/lg-launches-optimus-g-korea-will-go-global-october\/\">arrived in Korea<\/a> in September before heading to other countries in October. 1 million units puts it significantly behind rival handsets from Samsung and Apple. The Galaxy S3, for instance, has achieved <a href=\"http:\/\/thenextweb.com\/asia\/2013\/01\/14\/samsungs-galaxy-s-range-passes-100m-global-channel-sales-as-the-galaxy-s3-clocks-up-41m\/\">41 million<\/a> in channel sales since its launch last May, and Apple sold over <a href=\"http:\/\/thenextweb.com\/asia\/2012\/12\/17\/apple-says-it-sold-more-than-2-million-iphone-5-units-in-china-over-the-launch-weekend\/\">2 million iPhone 5 units<\/a> in just its first weekend of mainland China sales.<\/p>\n<p>While the Optimus G has yet to arrive in China, an LG representative has indicated that it will land there and in Europe later this quarter. LG sold <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2012\/10\/24\/3547382\/lg-q3-2012-earnings-mobile-profit\">7 million smartphones<\/a> in the third quarter of 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The company is optimistic about growth in 2013, though, as it expects to sell <a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/gadgets\/2013\/01\/lg-says-it-plans-on-selling-45-million-smartphones-this-year\/\">45 million smartphones<\/a> this year. That could be a challenge, given how long it took for the Optimus G, one of two flagship models released this fall, to hit its first million.<\/p>\n<p>Still, LG will see a substantial boost in smartphone sales with the help of the <a href=\"http:\/\/thenextweb.com\/mobile\/2012\/11\/02\/the-beautiful-powerful-nexus-4-proves-that-google-now-is-the-future\/\">Nexus 4<\/a>, which was itself inspired by the Optimus G, once the company can overcome its <a href=\"http:\/\/thenextweb.com\/google\/2012\/12\/17\/googles-uk-managing-director-sheds-light-on-nexus-4-supply-issues-offers-hope-to-some\/?fromcat=all\">supply issues<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not clear exactly how many Nexus 4 units have been sold, but an LG executive <a href=\"http:\/\/androidcommunity.com\/lg-exec-claims-nexus-4-supply-issues-will-soon-be-resolved-20130117\/\">did recently note<\/a> that the 375,000 number <a href=\"http:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2013\/01\/02\/google-nexus-4\/\">based on guesswork<\/a> from the handset\u2019s serial numbers was too low.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LG anunci\u00f3 que super\u00f3 el mill\u00f3n de unidades vendidas de su smartphone insignia, el LG Optimus G.
