En general, el mercado de tel\u00e9fonos celulares creci\u00f3 un 2.4 por ciento comparado con el mismo per\u00edodo el a\u00f1o anterior, pero los smartphones potenciaron ese incremento, con un crecimiento inesperado de 45.3 por ciento.<\/p>\n<p>De los 179.7 millones de smartphones vendidos, <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/samsung\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Celulares Samsung\">Samsung<\/a><\/b> y <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smart-gsm.com\/fabricantes\/apple\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"tel\u00e9fonos celulares Apple\">Apple<\/a><\/b> acapararon casi la mitad, posicion\u00e1ndose en el ranking como primero y segundo respectivamente. Si bien las ventas de iPhone no aumentaron, el nuevo iPhone 5 s\u00f3lo estuvo disponible unos d\u00edas antes de que finalizara el trimestre.
