\nDurante Google I\/O, un grupo de ejecutivos, entre los que estaban Any Rubin, l\u00edder de desarrollo de Android OS, se sent\u00f3 a responder varias preguntas realizadas por los asistentes, entre ellas sobre el futuro de los dispositivos Nexus<\/b>, propios de Google.<\/p>\n

Teniendo en cuenta que Google ha empezado a trabajar mas de cerca con operadoras y fabricantes para actualizar los dispositivos Android<\/a> de una manera mas eficaz, una de las preguntas apuntaba a saber si esto podr\u00eda significar algo para los dispositivos Nexus<\/b>, a lo cual Rubin respondi\u00f3 que “No mucho”, aunque s\u00ed deber\u00edamos esperar un nuevo Nexus para este a\u00f1o<\/b>.<\/p>\n

“Pienso que Nexus fue la cosa que usamos para imponer un l\u00edmite”, asegur\u00f3 Rubin. “Siempre habr\u00e1 nuevos saliendo al mercado”.<\/p>\n

A la pregunta de cuando ser\u00eda entonces, Rubin respondi\u00f3 “Los ciclos son el verano [del norte] y fin de a\u00f1o”, revelando un anuncio para fines de este a\u00f1o de manera impl\u00edcita. Es probable que un nuevo Nexus sea necesario para la nueva versi\u00f3n Ice Cream Sandwich de Android<\/a>, que ser\u00e1 lanzada en el cuarto trimestre del a\u00f1o y unificar\u00e1 finalmente la versi\u00f3n Honeycomb<\/a> para tablets con smartphones Android.<\/p>\n

HTC<\/a> y Samsung<\/a> ya tuvieron sus Nexus, Motorola<\/a>, Honeycomb. \u00bfSer\u00e1 el turno de LG<\/a> o Sony Ericsson<\/a> se impondr\u00e1 finalmente?<\/p>\n
